THE LITTLE THINGS - COMING 1 JUNE

June 1 I will be dropping 50 miniature paintings for sale in my website shop.

​

It’s called The Little Things because, firstly, quite simply…. they’re little, but also because, now, with the world being on fire, and us all feeling powerless to do anything, we need to really focus on the little things that make us happy. This is what I hope these paintings can bring, a little happiness.

​

There will be two sizes: 13 x 18 cm and 10 x 13cm and will be painted on small canvas boards in a mixture of acrylic and oil paints with marker pen.

​

These small oil paintings explore the quiet presence of the human figure at an intimate and fun scale. Each piece is created with close attention to gesture and atmosphere, inviting the viewer into a more personal encounter than larger works sometimes allow.

​

Though modest in size, the paintings are colourful and playful, carrying a gentle sense of wonder that encourages curiosity and reflection. Designed to be lived with as much as looked at, they bring warmth, character, and a touch of imagination to any space.

Also look out for some miniature studies from my ‘Blood is the Life’ series that I’m calling ‘Blood Samples,’ these will drop some time over the summer.
