The tiny series of pieces is called The Little Things because, firstly, quite simply…. they’re little, but also because, now, with the world being on fire, and us all feeling powerless to do anything, we need to really focus on the little things that make us happy. This is what I hope these paintings can bring, a little happiness.

The collection will largely be made up of two sizes: 13 x 18 cm and 10 x 13cm, with a few other random sizes thrown in (nothing over 20x20cm) and will be painted on canvas boards in a mixture of acrylic and oil paints with marker pen.

They explore the quiet presence of the human figure at an intimate and fun scale. Each piece is created with close attention to gesture, inviting the viewer into a more personal encounter.

Designed to be lived with as much as looked at, they bring warmth, character, and a touch of imagination to any space.
