Harrison Ford is one of my all time favourite actors.

Earlier this year I watched an interview with him by the incredible Rachel Martin for 'wild card' on Youtube (check it out if you can).

I found it incredibly moving, and Rachel was able to get some wonderfully honest and real answers from Harrison and he clearly felt comfortable with her.

After watching the interview I decided to paint his portrait from a still image from the video. I wasn't looking at Harrison the film star, it really was just Harrison the man and I wanted to capture that.
