This is an original oil painting of artistic swimmer Zoe Poulis.

Don’t forget to breathe. Simply breathing can bring a new perspective and feeling of calm. Sometimes the simple things work to centre us and to ground us. We all feel like we’re drowning sometimes. This piece invites the viewer to come up for air.

Unframed. Has professional d-rings and string so is ready to be hung.

Painted on a stretched canvas with white edges.  40x30 inches, 1.5cm depth

I’m very proud of this painting. It’s actually from a photo of the extremely talented artistic swimmer Zoe Poulis. I saw the photo and it spoke to me, it’s beautiful but so open for interpretation, which I love. She’s literally coming up for air and for me it gives a sense of relief, a sense of catharsis and escape from a bad state to a state of renewed energy and wellbeing. I loved painting it and I’d love for someone to be able to feel those things when they look at it.
